Growing Up

I am 18 years old
a graduate from high school
and the most exciting thing I do with my nights is go to the library.
Trust me, I'm cool.

Well tonight I actually did something with my life
(I know, I was surprised too)
I went to the park to swing,
and went miniature golfing.
And it was the most fun I've had in months.

I was laughing the whole time,
I just felt relaxed and carefree.
It finally felt like summer.
Thank you.

Anyway, while going on this summer adventure,
I was being eaten alive.
I have no idea why mosquitoes like me so much,
I can't taste that good.
At this moment, I have 4 bites that itch.
The other 3 are being nice.

Oh, and I still have the hiccups.
I'm falling apart.

Welp, back to miniature golfing.
I must be the worst miniature golfer on the face of this planet
and probably the other planets too.
But, I did get a hole in one!
Just throwing that out there.

OKAY.
I have something to talk about.
The Voice!
It's my new show.
I love it.
First: I have a crush on Adam Levine.
He's dreamy.
Second: Dia Frampton is amazing.
If she doesn't win, I will riot in the streets
and probably say some inappropriate things on Facebook.

Dia Frampton is from St. George Utah
and was in a band call Meg and Dia.
I saw them at Warped Tour.
They were spectacular.
She still is.

And I will now prove both of my points.

Okay, point proved.

Easy A

Oh look, here I am.
Second night in a row, blogging.
I am becoming afull-fledged blogger, aren't I??
This is bad.

But I am currently watching Easy A, wasting my life away on www.pinterest.com,
So I thought it would be an okay time to blog.

If you haven't figured it out by now
(which you probably haven't, seeing as this is only my second blog ever),
I am completely obsessed with random websites.
I have quite a few that I check almost on a daily bases.
One of my favorites this week is Pinterest,
and I check it more like hourly.

And well, I found out today that you can't just make an account for Pinterest.
You have to ask for an "invite".
How beyond stupid is that?
I don't want to ask permission to get invited somewhere.
It kind of beats the purpose of getting invited somewhere.

Anyway, that was completely off subject.
I do that a lot.
So I didn't ask to be invited to be on Pinterest,
because I figured, hey, I have a blog
if I want to post pictures of things I like I don't have to do it on a fancy website.

So alas, I figured out how I will end my blog every time.
Pictures of things I like!
And you should be excited,
because I like rad stuff.

So here it is,
my first addition of Pinterest, McKenna style.

Someone find me this door. Please?
I would make this my front door if I could,
you know, if I had a house.

I already tried to convince my mom to do this.
It didn't work so well.
But that doesn't mean I can't do this,
when I have a house, and family, I mean.
You would have to be crazy if you didn't think this is adorable,
and wish you could go back in time and do this with your hubby,
If I could draw...
Plus, this would be a sweeeeet tattoo.
I will make this one day.
Watch me.
I laughed.
I fell in love.
Find me one?
I would do this.
If I had a husband.
And got tattoos?
Bummer all around.
Still so cute.
I would accept this as my wedding ring.
Or just a ring.
Like now.
I will find this.

The Cave

I've caved.
Conformed, some may say.

I created a blog.
This just could possibly be my pre-midlife crisis.
Kinda depressing that this, a blog, is my pre-midlife crisis.
Goes to show you how exciting my, now adult, life is.
I promised myself I would never get to this point.
Making a blog I mean.
I'm just not big into talking about myself and posting it all over the interweb.
But here I am, blogging.
Whatever.

I am still not to the point of posting a link to my blog on Facebook
so my internet friends can creep on me in new and more creative ways.
So I guess that makes it better.
Maybe.

In my defense for making this blog,
because I feel the need to defend myself,
I am going away to college and need a way to keep in touch with some of my work friends :).
Okay, one of my work friends.
And to tell someone about my life, even if it's a blog no one ever reads.
It's like a journal I would keep under my mattress.
Only, easier to find and read.
Plus, this could be a better, healthier, way to spend my nights.
Because before this they were spent on www.stumbleupon.com
just stumbling my nights away
so addicting.

This could be a very stupid idea.
Oh well.

Welp, I'm not very good at this blogging thing yet.
So I'm not quite sure how I should end my blog.
So for now, enjoy some photobooth pictures that have been taken since I got my mac :)
